About Us: Peachey Contracting, a well-established company based in London, Ontario, is seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Removal Operator to join our winter operations team. With a commitment to delivering exceptional service, we take pride in maintaining safe and clear pathways during winter weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Snow Removal:
  • Operate snow shovels, blowers, and other equipment to clear snow from designated areas.
  • Ensure timely and thorough snow removal to maintain safe access for pedestrians and vehicles.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment.
  • Report any equipment issues promptly for repairs.
• Communication:
  • Coordinate with team members to prioritize and efficiently execute snow removal tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during snow removal operations.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of completed snow removal tasks.
  • Provide reports on activities and conditions as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Proven experience operating snow removal equipment.
  • Familiarity with various snow removal techniques.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability:
  • Dependable and able to respond to on-call duties during winter weather events.
