Lawn Mowing

The Bi-Weekly Plan is a simple and economical way to maintain your grass for the summer. It also runs from May to September and includes a lawn maintenance visit every 14 days. When you sign up for the full season, you will receive a visit every other week for a total of 11 visits between May 1 and Sep 30.

• Mowing – We use a professional lawn mower to perform grass cutting on all the turf areas to a standard cutting height of 2.5 to 3 inches
• Trimming – We use a string trimmer to perform trimming along all the obstacles such as trees, gardens, fences, driveways, sidewalks, etc.
• Edging – We use a blade edger to power edge along all the straight sidewalks and driveways once a month. This will create a sharp and clean look for your front yard.

Mulched Clippings  – Clippings are mulched for the best lawn health. With a commercial-grade mulching mower, clippings are cut into fine pieces that fall easily onto the soil surface and are rapidly broken down by soil microorganisms, which release nutrients back into the soil. All the loose clippings are blown off driveways and walkways to the lawn. If you request bagging for every visit, additional charges will apply. Unfortunately, the disposal of the waste bags is not included in our services.

Yes, Peachey Contracting does offer a one-time or vacation lawn mowing service. However, this service does cost a little bit more due to the fact that regular maintenance services may not be in schedule on a regular basis.

You can get a quote, pay and manage your services all online, so you can rest assured that your lawn is taken care of properly not just while you are enjoying your vacation away, but for the whole summer as well.

• Weed Control & Fertilization – As one of our most popular services, you can add on Weed Control & Fertilization and get full-season treatment of weed control and fertilization throughout summer with guaranteed results. The herbicide application will start in May and occur once every 4 to 6 weeks. Most common broadleaf weeds such as dandelion, thistle, and clover will die within one week, however, some pesky weeds may need a second application for it to take full effect. With our free courtesy re-visit, rest assured we will make sure you have a weed-free lawn the entire summer! Fertilization application will occur at the same time as the weed control application, to build stronger grassroots and blades, and strengthen the lawn against weed growth. During the fall, an application of winterizing fertilization is also applied, ensuring your lawn stays healthy through the winter. All products are Health Canada approved, but we recommend staying off the lawn until it is dry.
• Hand weeding Since our herbicide weed control products are not legally allowed to be applied in flower beds or rock beds, we also offer hand weeding for your pesky weeds on an hourly basis.
• Debris disposal Typically, all the yard waste is either mulched back to the lawn for the best lawn health or left in the organic garbage bin for city collection. If you would like us to remove clippings, disposal fees will apply.
• Priority Scheduling When you sign up for our lawn mowing plan, we will schedule your regular mowing day per week based on your requirements.

The price of each service is based on extensive market research of local market pricing. Don’t worry about having to set up an appointment for a contractor to come to your property to give you a quote, we offer quotes within seconds using satellite imaging to determine the size and configuration of the Yard.

All of our services require payment before commencing work. One-Time clients will be charged/billed for the services purchased and agreed upon. Our weekly and bi-weekly contracts are due on the 1st of each month. Our seasonal contracts will be due at the beginning of the season. If you order in the middle of the season, a prorated amount will be charged.

All invoices are created 3 days prior to the due payment date. A unpaid invoice reminder will be automatically emailed to you, 1 day proir to the invoice due date. If payment is not made by the 1st of the month, your services will be suspended on the 2nd of the month. If payment is NOT made by the 3rd of the month, your services will be Terminated as per our Terms of Service, and our written General Service Agreement.

If your grass is over 5” long at the beginning of your service, a one-time surcharge will be applied to compensate for the additional time needed for the initial mowing and additional wear and tear on the equipment. This surcharge is billed at an hourly rate included in your quote. This surcharge will not apply after the initial visit, because we’ve got you covered from there!.

As you’re aware, fuel prices have risen dramatically since Spring 2022. Fuel makes up a significant portion of what it costs to provide you with our convenient, high-quality yard care service. We’ve done everything in our power to shield our customers from the rising fuel cost. Unfortunately, we’ve reached a position where we must implement a temporary fuel surcharge for all service visits. This fuel surcharge will appear as a separate item on your invoice, as we hope to be able to remove the surcharge in the future.
By signing up for our services, you agree to pay these fuel surcharges on a monthly basis/as billed.
