About Peachey Contracting

Peachey Contracting was founded by Jason Peachey, Owner, and Rick Peachey, Co-Owner, bringing together over 40 years of combined experience in skilled trades, construction, and craftsmanship.

When the COVID-19 pandemic impacted employment opportunities, Jason and Rick recognized an opportunity to build something of their own while continuing to serve homeowners with dependable, quality workmanship. With uncertainty surrounding the future, the idea for Peachey Contracting was born. On September 1, 2019, Peachey Contracting officially became a licensed business in Canada and the Province of Ontario.

Jason Peachey – Owner

Jason began his career in the residential cabinet industry in 2005, working as a Cabinet Maker for Sarnia Cabinets in Sarnia. Over the next eight years, he gained extensive hands-on experience in cabinet manufacturing, woodworking, and custom craftsmanship.

In 2013, Jason transitioned into the commercial sector, joining BCM Ltd. in London as a Cabinet Maker and Installer. During this time, he contributed to custom commercial projects for well-known organizations such as GoodLife Fitness, Fit4Less, and Delta Hotels, completing a wide variety of high-end and specialized installations.

In 2017, Jason transitioned into the aviation industry, joining Diamond Aircraft, where he worked as a Quality Assurance & Airworthiness Inspector. This role further strengthened his attention to detail, quality standards, and commitment to precision.

In October 2025, Jason made the decision to leave the aviation industry and focus exclusively on growing Peachey Contracting full-time. Today, he dedicates his time to expanding the business and ensuring clients receive dependable, professional service backed by quality workmanship and strong customer care.

Rick Peachey – Co-Owner

Rick began his carpentry career in 2005 with the Carpenters Union, Local 1256, where he completed his apprenticeship and earned his designation as a Red Seal Carpenter. With over 20 years of hands-on carpentry experience, Rick has developed extensive expertise in residential construction, renovations, framing, finish carpentry, and structural work. His professional training and years in the trade reflect a strong commitment to skilled workmanship and quality craftsmanship.
